You are responsible for any misuse of your account, even if a friend, family member, guest, agent, or employee committed the inappropriate activity while using your account. Therefore, you must take steps to ensure that others do not gain unauthorized access to your account. In addition, you may not use your account to breach the security of another Evil Hosting account or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another network or server.
The Evil Hosting Agreement and all its components prohibit acts of copyright and trademark infringement and other unlawful behavior by Evil Hosting Customers. Evil Hosting takes Customer violations seriously and will investigate complaints and, where appropriate, may remove content, disable sites, suspend or terminate services, or take other action as necessary.
Evil Hosting reserves the right to suspend or modifiy the services to any Customer who is using our network. Evil Hosting reserves the right to terminate service without notice.
We imply no merchantability or fitment of use for any purpose to any data or service provided. In other words, if something breaks, you can't sue us.
No ads on your webpage what so ever like, for example, the Google AdSense. We're offering free hosting without placing banners and ads on your site to recover our expenses, so we don't think it's fair for you to make money out of this project.
No CGI IRC clients or proxies.
No LISTEN sockets may be created.
No Bots or proxies of any sort are allowed. This includes Eggdrop IRC bots, web anonymizers, etc.
No to anything related with IRC what so ever. Period.
No CGI shell functionality scripts allowed (example: CGI-Telnet).
No sending spam mail. This includes unsolicited advertisements, chain letters and the like.
No mass-mailing through our network.
No advertising via mail. None. Period. No exceptions. This includes non-profit and "Hey, check out my site!" emails.
No programs that collects, attempts to collect, or helps any third party to collect personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
No for-profit advertising of any service, product or company is allowed using our services or hardware. Our service is free of any advertisements, and we request the same from our users.
No click-through ads of any sort, even for link-hit counting.
No malicious programs of any kind (examples: viruses, worms, Trojan Horses, logic bombs, and other executables intended to inflict harm).
No distribution of pirated software or any cracks or serial numbers.
No denial of service attacks or distributed denial of service attacks, mail-bombing, flooding, or attempting to overload the system.
No forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an e-mail or a newsgroup posting.
No background processes.
No posting of material that is threatening, obscene, indecent, pornographic, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, tortious, inaccurate, or that otherwise could adversely affect any individual, group or entity.
No posting of material that threatens or encourages bodily harm or destruction of property.
No posting of material that harms any person, that victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, sex, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, age, disability, or any other reason.
No child pornography. Evil Hosting will cooperate fully with any criminal investigation into a Customer's violation of the Child Protection Act of 1984 concerning child pornography.
DON'T BREAK THE LAW !
Anyone who is found violating these rules will have their account immediately disconnected, their files deleted, their IP banned, and their information will be given to any organization willing to investigate or prosecute them.
If you do not like our rules, do not use our service. There are plenty of other services out there!
